As part of the Moroccan energy strategy, which aims to increase the share of renewable energies in the national electricity mix to over 52% by 2030, the Noor Ouarzazate complex is the first solar project to be launched. Spread over more than 3000 Ha and with a power of 580 MW, the Noor Ouarzazate complex consists of four solar power plants that use different technologies:
Noor Ouarzazate I and II (cylindro-parabolic mirror)
Noor Ouarzazate III (tower solar power plant)
Noor Ouarzazate IV (photovoltaic plant)
